Greetings!

Intrepid adventurers may notice the emergence of a steep grass-covered hill just southwest of the Ankis Dir Observatory in Bosque Deriel. One only need to venture past Leth Deriel's Durmast Bower Gate to find the hill and, subsequently, the stream that leads to the White Laurel, home of the treehopper toads. An Elven scout guards the stream, and he will provide limited answers to questions about the area and its inhabitants should you inquire. Be aware: the toads are not an easy foe, so be on your toes. They like to practice their ninja skills. Fair warning!

Those with a particular interest in alchemy might find the toads to their liking, if you catch my drift. Wink

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to GM Ziyero for helping with the more murderous details (especially since he dove head-first into the substance system on my behalf). Many thanks go to GM Lohkrian for the speedy QC. You guys rock! I'd also like to note that the area and creature were the brainchild of GM Equity, and I merely finished her work to make her idea a reality as best I could.

Please let me know if you notice any weirdness with the toads or the new White Laurel area, and we'll try to address them ASAP.

Happy dieing, I mean hunting!

Dragonrealms! Hey at least we didn't lose as many people as Gemstone!

Sorry, forgot to add this in the original post...

This is a hunting area primarily for Estate Holders, as anyone who consults with the Elven scout will find out. However, he is willing to let others in if they are grouped with an Estate Holder.

Anyone tried these out?  I heard they were Peccary level, but can't determine if they were talking regular or Bristleback.  Anyone have a better idea of their range?  I may have to check them out while I'm on the mainland.

fit right between shard/raven's gryphons and shalswars/dp's.
they're really swarmy, jump to melee from missle, and can give you cyanide poisoning(usually minor rt and wears off before harming you, usually)
seem to teach ok starting at like 250 and slowing down at about 400.
250 skinning at least to skin the glands(counting them turns them into a substance and aren't bundlable)
heard the climbing parts teach ok(only a couple i have trouble with when holding a weapon)
and there's maybe 12 rooms in there total?
